BREAKING: Shooting at NSA Headquarters in Fort Meade

Two men dressed as women were involved in a shooting after trying to ram their way through the gate at the NSA headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland Monday morning approximately 9:30am local time.

The incident began after the two men tried to gain access to the military base where some 11,000 military personnel along with 29,000 civilian employees work.  After they were denied access by security guards, they opened fire and tried ramming the gate open with their car, a stolen Ford Escape. The firefight resulted in one of the men being killed and the other being severely injured according to reports.  One officer was also injured during the attack.

It was reported that drugs were found inside the stolen vehicle.  Authorities are saying the incident is not likely an act of terrorism and the investigation will be conducted by local NSA police.
